WWAY’s Thursday night sports – May 17

In golf the UNCW men's golf team is tied for fifth place after one round of their NCAA Golf Regional. Old Dominion leaving CAA for Conference USA

Old Dominion is leaving the Colonial Athletic Association and joining Conference USA. School President John R. Broderick said in a release Thursday that the move will be effective July 1, 2013.

VCU leaves CAA, announces move to Atlantic 10

CAA’s VCU gets into Final Four, UNC does not
