Former Duke standout Gerald Henderson appears to be making a difference for the Charlotte Hornets. With Henderson in the starting lineup the Hornets have three consecutive victories. Charlotte beat Denver on Monday night.

They were hoping that would change on Friday night in Pennsylvania, but the Harrisburg City Islanders and the Hammerheads ended up with a scoreless draw. The Hammerheads will face Rochester on Saturday night in New York. The Wilmington Sharks did win though. The Sharks beat the Florence RedWolves with the addition of a new player from UNCW. videoHoggard graduate Joe O'Donnell picked up his second win of the season on the mound on Thursday for the Wilmington Sharks. In front of one of the largest crowds of the season the Sharks beat Morehead City. Michael Jordan won't be suiting up for the Charlotte Hornets, but his team will at least look sharp. The Hornets unveiled their new uniforms on Thursday. In Pinehurst a 6th grader won over the crowd with an impressive round at the U.S. Open and a few licks of ice cream during her media conference.
