The Arts Friendly Foundation is a coalition of businesses that promote and support the Cape Fear arts community.  It also raises money throughout the  year for arts nonprofits.  Last year Arts Friendly raised more than $4,000 to be distributed to five area groups.

‘Still Moving’ benefits DREAMS of Wilmington this weekend

Food, fun, shopping, music and dancing are all on tap for 'Still Moving', a benefit for DREAMS of Wilmington. Norak Contemporary and Modern Dance Company founder Karon Tunis says the event is one-of-a-kind for the Cape Fear. It starts with the Day Dreaming Vendor Fair featuring a variety of vendors. It also features food trucks and live performances by Funky Leroy Harper, Jr & the Posse and the Warner Temple Mass Choir. The fair is free and open to the public.
