WWAY’s Full Court Press – January 20

We witnessed quite an ending in the New Hanover-Topsail boys basketball game. We there for the exciting finish. Most Topsail fans would probably call it a controversial finish. This was just one of the games we featured on Friday's Full Court Press.

videoOn Tuesday on WWAY we featured five different basketball games at five different venues. We checked out action in Rocky Point between the undefeated East Bladen girls vs. Trask. We checked out the undefeated West Brunswick boys against Topsail. We also featured New Hanover-Laney, Harrells-Coastal Christian along with a wilder than wild finish in the Ashley-Hoggard boys basketball game.

videoIt was colorful. It was different. On Friday's Full Court Press the entire West Brunswick boys basketball team joined us live in the WWAY studio. The Trojans are now 18-0 on the season. They accepted our invitation for their special live appearance, but the invite hinged on West Brunswick beating Laney on Friday night in Buctown. We also featured victories from Hoggard, Ashley, Whiteville and Northside along with boys and girls action from Harrells-Cape Fear Academy.
