Shrine bowl roster announced for NC team

Southeastern North Carolina has representation in December's NC-SC Shrine Bowl. The roster was released on Thursday afternoon for this high school football all-star clash.

Seattle Seahawks add Owen Spencer to practice squad on Sunday

The Seattle Seahawks released former North Brunswick Scorpion Owen Spencer on Saturday. It's the second release this week for Spencer, but Owen Spencer isn't heading back to Brunswick County. Instead, he signed with Seattle on Sunday as a member of their practice squad.

Titans cut former North Brunswick Scorpion

Belville's Owen Spencer has been released by the NFL's Tennessee Titans. NFL teams have to trim their rosters to 80 by Tuesday afternoon. There will be more cuts prior to the start of the regular season.
