School stadium light poles recalled

For the second time in less than a year, the US Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a warning about light poles used at many school stadiums around the country, including in our area.

Cause of North Brunswick High fire identified

Authorities have identified the cause of Tuesday night's fire at North Brunswick High School. The fire began in the wood shop of the school around 7:00 p.m. Authorities say a sander was left on and overheated.

Fire at North Brunswick High closes school for the day

There will not be any classes for students at North Brunswick High School Wednesday. A fire broke out in the wood shop on the Leland campus around 7:00 p.m. Tuesday night.

videoFor band students summer can sometimes mean "band camp", but elite band students have the option of tryng out for drum and bugle corps. There are 25 top level drum corps across the country. One of the better ones is based at Jacksonville State University in Alabama. They call themselves "The Spirit" and this summer a 16 year year old North Brunswick High School student will be performing on the field with them. John Rendleman has our report.
