We told you earlier this month that a state law forced the car auction to cancel an event in Myrtle Beach, and that organizers were considering moving it to Wilmington.

New convention center’s second event will be Anime & Japanese Culture Festival

Aniwave is Wilmington’s only Anime film and Japanese Culture Festival, an event started in 2007. It is a one day festival this year, and will be held on November 20th, 2010. The venue will be the Wilmington Convention Center, and will in fact be the second event to take place at the new center.
