Hansbrough listed as probable for Wednesday night’s game
CHAPEL HILL (AP) — North Carolina All-America forward Tyler Hansbrough is listed as probable for tomorrow night’s game against Nicholls State.
Hansbrough was injured with just under six minutes to play in the second half of Sunday night’s game against Rutgers when he fell backward while trying to draw a charge. His head snapped back and struck an television cameraman’s knee as well as the padded portion
of the basketball support.
He did not return to action after being helped from the court and flew home with the team.
A school spokesman says Hansbrough went through a light workout Monday and will be examined during the next two days by UNC medical staff before Wednesday night’s game.
