Road closed with Detour.  Motorist who travel on the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge (US 17/76/421) over the Northeast Cape Fear River in New Hanover County need to be aware of scheduled bridge closures.  The North Carolina Department of Transportation will have nightly road closures in both directions on the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge to perform paving, building, electrical and mechanical work. Beginning September 10, 2018 thru April 17, 2019.

The North Carolina Department of Transportation will have lane closures for traffic in both directions on the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge to perform paving, electrical, mechanical and building construction.  Beginning Monday, September 10, 2018 through April 17 2019.
