The widow of Shallotte realtor Adam Bradshaw has filed suit against the two suspects charged with his murder.

You may recall that Bradshaw's body was found in late April, after he had been missing for several days. Craig Bryant and Lora Moultrie have been charged in his death.

Last week, Shannon Bradshaw filed a civil lawsuit against Bryant and Moultrie. The suit alleges that the suspects forged Adam Bradshaw's signature on a fraudulent quitclaim deed. Mrs. Bradshaw says her husband purchased the property from Bryant in December. Then in January, Bryant wanted it back.

The lawsuit says Bryant asked Moultrie to help him forge a document, essentially giving the property back to Bryant. A trial date has not yet been set for the murder charges or this most recent civil case. Bradshaw is survived by his wife and a 16-month-old son.

You can't...

get blood from a turnip! Do you really think these two low-lifes have 2 nickels to rub together?

why?

Why, when these people were in this situation, why was it not taken to the police? Why did he go out and buy a gun? If you are threatened, I would think it's best to inform the cops. On the other hand, why not just sell the property back to them to avoid the situation? I'm by no means sticking up for murderers but this story just does not make sense that someone had to die?????

Why?

No one should have to feel intimidated to sell their property back to someone to keep from being murdered. Once they sold the property to him, it was his to do with as he pleased. I'm sure he had no idea that they were planning his death.

Widow Of Adam Bradshaw Filed Civil Suit Against Murder Suspects

Thanks to WWAYTV3 for your professionalism. It is a long and devastating road that I am travelling. I lost my husband so suddenly and violently. He was murdered for such a senseless reason. FYI, my son is not two years old. I don't want him to grow that fast. He is only 16 months old and so much like his father.

So Sorry

I'm so sorry for your devastating loss. I pray that you and your son will be encouraged and strengthened knowing that so many people are praying for you.

lora M

I used to work with lora she was always a helpful person and everyone liked her. some times you can be in the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong people. and make a foolish and senseless decision. Lora was a trust worthy person who was well like by the elderly community. i feel sad for her

My encounter with Lora was

My encounter with Lora was one where she cussed at my child. So not everyone likes/liked her. And yes, you can be at the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong people, and guess what, you are still responsible for your decisions and your actions. What she did was wrong. What she did took the life of a young father with a young son. If you are going to feel sad for anyone, it should be Adam's wife and son, not the woman who participated in a senseless murder.

totally agree

I agree with everything guest 2020 said. You can be at the wrong place at the wrong time and with the wrong people, but that is a choice that Lora made. She is responsible for her actions and must pay the consequences for making a thoughtless decision that caused a young man to lose his life. To others trying to defend her - stop making excuses for her. She is an adult and she made the choice - now she has to step up and take responsibility. At least her family can go see her. Adam's family have to visit a gravesite just because 2 human beings felt that they had to kill him. So shut up making excuses and let the legal system take over.
