Brunswick County Republicans to decide Stiller's successor


State representative Bonner Stiller's replacement will be decided this week. Tuesday, the Brunswick County Republican Party will choose his successor. Two Brunswick County Republicans have announced their hopes to fill the empty seat; District Party Chairman Frank Iler, and Board of Education Chairman Shirley Babson. The Brunswick County Republican is leaving the North Carolina House effective Monday. Stiller cites family and business concerns as his reasons for stepping down. He has been a member of the House for 7 years.
