Public input wanted on future of Wrightsville Sound

WILMINGTON, NC (NEWS RELEASE) -- The City of Wilmington will host a workshop on Thursday as part of the planning process for the Wrightsville Sound Small-Area Plan. This will be the fourth in a series of workshops at which citizens provide input that will help shape the future of Wrightsville Sound.

This workshop is a follow-up to the Dec. 2 workshop at which participants were asked to identify actions that may be taken to address the community's goals. This workshop will allow more time for group discussions to identify actions needed for the plan.

The workshop will be held 6:30-8:30 p.m. at St. Andrew's On-the-Sound Episcopal Church, located at 101 Airlie Road. More information is available on the city's website at
