Wilmington Police investigate armed robbery on Beasley Road

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- Wilmington Police are also looking for two young men who robbed a carload of people in the 500 block of Beasley Road. It happened about 6:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Two men and two women said they pulled over to get something out of the trunk. That's when they say two black males about 15 to 18 years old rushed up to the car. One pointed a handgun while the other got in and stole money and a cell phone.

Both suspects were about six feet tall. One wore a black and white hooded sweatshirt. The other wore a gray hooded sweatshirt.

I'm willing to bet this robbery didn't happen the way these victims are pretending it did. My guess is they were in the area trying to score some drugs and got robbed if they actually got robbed at all, lots of holes in this story.

Hmmm, sound kinda fishy to me.
A carload of people pull over in just the perfect place and just the perfect time for 2 guys to jump them...I guess it could happen, but odds are that it didn't.
Sound like an insurance fraud in the making.

The victims can say what they want, but there are several crack houses on that road. They just got taken, not robbed. They had it coming.

For a minute, I was about to think that I was the only ont to see the holes in this story.When you have been robed,you never refuse to give your name. Just think, now I can belive this is what happened.
