WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- Hollywood East is a bustling place full of film crews and famous faces.

The cast and crew of "One Tree Hill" was spotted filming at Battleship Park today. The Battleship's spokeswoman said the show has been shooting at the Wilmington icon for nearly a week.

Diehard fans lined the set, hoping to get a glimpse of their favorite stars. Jennifer Black and her cousin drove five hours to sneak a peek at the show.

"We've watched it since the pilot. We've kind of grown up with the characters," Black said. "We just came out to kind of see what's going on and see if we can meet any of the celebs. It's just a fun little trip to make and to see, you know, this is the closest we can get to Hollywood, so it's really cool."

Black said she loves the show because the characters are relatable and it's beautifully written. She said she's met some of the cast before, and they were really friendly.
