FIRST ON 3: Documentary to be produced on man sailing from Wilmington to Portugal

WILMINGTON, NC (NEWS RELEASE) - Cool Change Productions and Neo Art and Logic (TREKKIES, PULSE, FEAST) announce production is underway for the documentary, CHANGING COURSE - an inspiring film about a 50 year old man's quest for peace within himself and the world he lives in.

Greg Frucci will sail solo across the Atlantic Ocean from Wilmington, NC to Lisbon, Portugal (3200 nautical miles) this Spring. He will depart from Masonboro Yacht Club in Wilmington, NC on May 17, 2011 (weather conditions may change departure date) and arrive in Lisbon sometime in late June/ early July of 2011. He will film the entire experience using remotely mounted high definition video cameras.

Greg will keep a daily video journal detailing his experiences on the boat as well as reflections on his life. He will share his life story and the trials and tribulations he has been through that have led up to this very moment – leaving everything behind to begin a new journey.

The documentary will also include his preparations for the voyage and his arrival in Portugal.

Executive Producers include Joel Soisson and Aaron Ockman of Neo Art and Logic. On the North Carolina front, Justin Soponis, Don A. King, Sheila Brothers and Nina Voltaire are named producers. Jeff Branch is directing.

CHANGING COURSE is set for release in Spring, 2012.
