Charlotte police find 2 gunshot victims in wreck

CHARLOTTE, NC (AP) -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police say they found two people shot to death in a wreck.

Police responding to a wreck around 2:30 a.m. Monday found a car crashed into a pole with four people inside. Two of the people had been shot to death.

A third person was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The fourth person has been taken in for questioning. The victims' names have not been released.

Police say they're looking for an older model sports utility vehicle, possibly white in color.

Authorities closed a downtown intersection while police investigate.
