WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- What's the Azalea Festival without the azaleas? You can see plenty on the Azalea Garden Tour.
Bob and Laura LaBant describe their home as a golf-lovers dream. Not only is it across the street from a golf course, but its front lawn is sculpted like a fairway with hills and valleys.
The main theme to these grounds is color. From perennials to annuals, each season has its own bright look at this home's several gardens.
"You can flow from one part of our garden into another part, so it's a series of mini-gardens, but very relaxed," Bob LaBant said. "We're avid golfers, and the lawn looks like a fairway, which we try to stay in as much as we can."
The backyard is peppered with pansies, and is ready to let out its many azalea blooms just in time for the tour.
After a leisurely round of golf, sit back and enjoy this marsh view along with the bright colors of this beautiful garden.
