STORMTRACK 3: Severe threat over as storms head offshore

The Severe Weather seen this morning across the area is now over. We did see numerous reports of downed trees and power lines across the Carolinas. Scattered showers and a few storms will remain through midday, with high wind gusts over 40 mph possible. Skies will begin to clear this afternoon.

Believe it or not, the concern this evening shifts toward cold weather as temperatures dropping into the mid 30's could cause problems for certain plants.

Nice warm weather returns late-week.
