FIRST ON 3: Woman who fell from Myrtle Beach hotel was from Shallotte

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- The woman who fell 14 stories to her death at a Myrtle Beach resort last week was from Brunswick County. Horry County Police say 34-year-old Heidi Robinson lived in Shallotte.

Investigators say Robinson fell from a balcony at Sea Watch Resort just before 11 a.m. Wednesday.

Sitting on rail?

I looked at the resort photos, which included a shot of the rooms' balconies, all with high rails.

I can only imagine that she was sitting on the rail before she fell--always a very dangerous thing to do. This, to me, is the only logical explanation.

So what happened?

Did she fall, did she jump or was she assisted over the railing? One heck of an "accident" to fall 14 stories!!!
