stealing from the kids

I am a parent of a child who goes to the school she stole from and we have alot of parents who do not know if we will get the product or our money back. I really hope she gets the book thrown at her. She also has children who have had to deal with whole problem she created. Why would you steal from a school pta program when there are plenty of programs that could help her if she really needed it. I hope this will not damage the schools reputation and we can still be sucessful with fundrasier next year and that the local bussiness will still donate to out school.

fingers crossed

I'm also a parent from this school, I don't have a lot of details but my understanding is that the school & PTO are working with the school board in hopes to refund the money to the parents. It may be a little while coming, but hopefully we'll see somthing sooner rather than later. Unfortunately, it will only be a loan from the school board & will have to be repaid next year with fundraiser money. I am hoping that parents will still have faith in the PTO as an organization and understand that this one individual doesn't represent what wonderful things the PTO is about and can do. We need to show next year that we still support the PTO and our school!!

stealing from the school

This is the lowest of low. I was a PTO secretary for 2 years and handled many fund raisers in NH county. I handled all the money that came in. I had $2000.00 cash one night in my purse while at a meeting because I had to turn it in that night. Talk about paranoid! I made very sure every single dime was accounted for, that was my job. Never crossed my mind to rip off the school, that is just not something I would ever do. This lady is just a low life, disgusting !

True enough, Das... only a

True enough, Das... only a didgusting lowlife would steal from a school. Unfortunately, it's not only happening here. Our local incident made this blog: http://churchembezzlement.blogspot.com/ which reports on various not-for-profit embezzlements.

At Noble Middle school

I know a bus driver went into the teacher's lounge and stole some PTO fundraiser money they got caught and spent some time in jail for it a couple of months ago. It didn't make the news but this bus driver got what they deserved and now has NO job. What is wrong with these people?

What??

Did this really happen and who was it? My child rides the bus at this school and he had some money missing that he swears happened on the school bus and the driver told him he was crazy and should keep up with his stuff better. If this was his bus driver I would like to know because we felt like the bus driver took it the whole time and wouldn't give it back. I think when things like this happen the parents should be notified.
