PA teen killed in NC while going to football camp

DURHAM, NC (AP) -- A high school senior from Pennsylvania has
been killed and his teammate injured in a shooting at a North
Carolina shopping center.

Durham police say a suspect was arrested about 2 a.m. Friday,
four hours after the shooting.

The names of the victims and the suspect had not been released
early Friday.

Police say the two football players from Gateway High School in
Monroeville, Pa., were shot in a parking lot near a hotel where
they were staying with their team on their way to football camp in
Florida.

The injured teen is a junior who was shot in the leg.

Police say the suspect had been eating at a restaurant across
the road a few minutes before the shooting.

Investigators aren't sure what prompted the shooting.
