Chris Rock's mom cancels Brunswick County seminar

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) -- Rose Rock, the mother of movie star/comedian Chris Rock and author of "Mama Rock Rules" has canceled her Brunswick County speaking date.

The following is a letter from Rock who was scheduled to speak at West Brunswick High School Saturday.

"Dear Madam, Sir, or Student:

I am sorry to say, but the seminar with Ms. Rose Rock has been canceled. Due to a
family emergency, Ms. Rock had to fly back to New York.

We will certainly reschedule the seminar and I will e-mail or call you with the new
date ASAP. I am truly sorry for any inconvience that this may have caused you.

P.S. You may request a refund of the amount you paid, or I will hold you
registration fee paid and apply to the upcoming new date.

P.P.S. Please let anyone that you told about the seminar, about the cancellation."
