Second redistricting hearing slated for Thursday


WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- You have a second chance to voice your opinions on the plan to redraw North Carolina's state House, state Senate and US House maps.

The Joint House and Senate Redistricting Committee will hold a public hearing Thursday, 3-9 p.m. at several locations across the state, including Wilmington. It's in UNCW's Education Building, Room 206.

Each speaker is limited to five minutes. Speakers are encouraged to submit their oral comments in writing. Persons proposing plans are encouraged to provide maps and any supporting data.
