WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- Work is underway on a new hotel in downtown Wilmington. Local leaders helped break ground today for a Courtyard Marriott.
The hotel will be built at 2nd and Grace Streets. The six-story building will include 124 rooms, meeting space and a cafe/bistro.
The $14 million project is expected to be done by the end of next year.
