Authorities ID body found in Chapel Hill creek

CHAPEL HILL, NC (AP) -- Authorities have identified the body of a man found in a Chapel Hill creek, and say the investigating into the man's death continues.

Investigators said 24-year-old Shane Pease of Fort Bragg was found in Bolin Creek around 9 a.m. Saturday.

An autopsy has been ordered to try and determine a cause of death.

Authorities say Pease was not a student at the University of North Carolina.
