FIRST ON 3 UPDATE: Deadly shooting at Columbus County party, deputies searching for shooter

READ MORE:

DELCO, NC (WWAY) -- Columbus County Sheriff Chris Batten says one man is dead and two women injured after a party turned deadly early Saturday morning.

Deputies responded just after 4 a.m. to a shooting at the Triple K Ranch on Big Branch Road in Delco, where Sheriff Batten says there was party that was heavily advertised.

According to the Sheriff's Office Dysheka Bell, 17, of 66 Hoover Road, went by private vehicle to Columbus Regional Health Care with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Miyah Moore, 16, of Big Branch Road, went to Cape Fear Hospital with a gunshot wound to the hand. Ulicus Robinson, 31, of 2742 Robinson Trail in Northwest, was transported to New Hanover Regional Medical Center with two gunshot wounds to the abdomen. Robinson died shortly after arriving at NHRMC.

According to Sheriff Batten, investigators believe the shooter was the same man who showed up at the party and was not recognized by anyone. We are told he was throwing signs and pushing people around. A fight started, gunshots were fired and Robinson was killed.

The shooter has not been found and no arrests have been made.

Investigators say early information is that the club was rented for a birthday party. Recent complaints have been made concerning parties at the club, the Sheriff's Office said. When officers arrived this morning the club and parking lot were vacant.

The Columbus County Sheriff's Office and the Northwest Police Department are investigating. Investigators ask that anyone who was at the club at the time of the shooting or has information to contact the Sheriff's Office at (910) 642-6551.
