UPDATE: DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - Bachmann adviser says presidential hopeful Michele Bachmann to end White House bid

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - Republican presidential hopeful Michele Bachmann is canceling her campaign trip to South Carolina after a dismal showing in the Iowa caucuses.

Campaign manager Keith Nahigan tells The Associated Press that the Minnesota congresswoman plans a news conference in Iowa later Wednesday morning. Nahigan would not say whether Bachmann intends to drop out.

Bachmann was a distant sixth in Iowa and her campaign is low on money. After the Tuesday night vote, she told reporters that she would carry on.

The New Hampshire primary is the next contest in the race. But Bachmann's strategy has her effectively writing off that Jan. 10 contest and focusing on the Southern state that, at least on paper, is a better fit for her brand of conservatism. The South Carolina primary is on Jan. 21.

Drop Out

Now, we just need that carpetbagging hedge fund manager with an itchy trigger finger and buck fever to drop out.

Tea bagg'n Luney Tune

But who am I now going to laugh at when she spews her hate and says stupid things? Well, I guess she can go home and continue to pray away her husband's gay.

Guesthappy

Ricky P and Leroy are still out there. You will have plenty more entertainment in the next few weeks. Even ole Rick Sanatorium may supply few laughs. Not to worry

Bachemann

Whew! One more crazy tea bagger we don't have to worry about.

Dang

I guess $2 a gallon gasoline and praying away the gay wasn't enough.

Dropping out

So the chief Tea-Bagger is out. Good riddance. She was the lead fruitcake of that whole sorry bunch.
