Brunswick County high speed chase suspect missing

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) -- The search continues for a suspect responsible for leading police on a high speed chase in Brunswick County last night.

According to the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office, Calvin Lee Maynar led a deputy on a high speed chase through Brunswick County, until he crashed into East Columbus Primary Care on US 74/76 in Delco. Maynar and his passenger, his 14-year-old daughter, then ran away.

The deputy caught the 14-year-old girl. However, Calvin Maynar got away and has not yet been caught.

Good job dad! You are really teaching your 14 year old some good lessons aren't you? Never stop for a policeman - run as fast as you can, crash into a business, and then run. What a coward and sorry excuse for a parent. Now the 14 year old is caught and where are you?
What will be your excuse?
