WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- Three Wilmington schools were on lock down briefly this afternoon after a report of shots fired in the area. Williston Middle School, Gregory Elementary School and Lake Forest Academy were locked down as law enforcement investigated.

A Wilmington Police Department spokeswoman says officers responded to the area of 12th and Queen for the report of shots fired. They found the man who allegedly had been shot at, but he was unwilling to discuss what happened. Officers were not able to find shell casings. A police report is being completed.

I wish they'd get more range time

There are too many being wounded, not killed, and they're filing for Social Security Disability. We are seeing an increase in wothless, sc**bag thugs in their twenties going on disability for life!

Of course

Of course he won't tell what happened. He'll just go on about his own way, find the one that shot him, and take care of it himself. Another will be shot or killed. The regular day to day life of street thugs.

Here is an idea

From the story: "They found the man who allegedly had been shot at, but he was unwilling to discuss what happened."

Since this idiot doesn't want to help the police, charge him with obstruct/hinder/delay a police officer.

just anotha day living in the hood, just anotha day around tha way! feeling good today!

Another shooting

Just another day in that area.

I know.

Well of course. I remember this. I was a 3rd grader in Gregory Elementary. Thank god I am alive. It really bugs me that almost everyday we have a real lock down. That year was packed with real lock downs. We had WAY more real lock downs than practice lock downs. That is what you get for having a school in downtown.
