BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) -- Brunswick County Sheriff's deputies have charged a man for allegedly trying to sell synthetic marijuana and thousands of pieces of drug paraphernalia.
Agents with the Brunswick County Vice/Narcotics Unit arrested Marc Seth Sokoloff, 59, of Myrtle Beach, Friday night and charged him with multiple drug related charges. Agents conducted a traffic stop on Sokoloff on US 17 near Thomasboro Road. During a search of Sokoloff's vehicle, agents seized more 400 grams of synthetic cannabinoids, commonly known as spice, as well as more than 3,400 pieces of drug paraphernalia, including smoking pipes, bongs, grinders, packaging material and digital scales.
Sokoloff is in the Brunswick County Detention Facility under a $40,000 secured bond. He's charged with possession with the intent to manufacture, sell or deliver synthetic cannabinoids, two counts of trafficking synthetic cannabinoids, sell or deliver synthetic cannabinoids and manufacture or deliver drug paraphernalia.
