WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WWAY) -- Residents and visitors can expect more traffic than usual getting on and off Wrightsville Beach next week.
The North Carolina Department of Transportation will intermittently close the eastbound and westbound right lane of US 74/76 at the Wrightsville Beach Drawbridge over the Intracoastal Waterway beginning Monday. The closures for routine bridge inspections will run each day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Thursday, June 28.

More traffic? Why would lane closures increase the amount of traffic? I believe this reporter wants to say that traffic will be slower and more congested due to the lane closures. I wish there was more proofreading and editors actually doing their job.
