WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- "Iron Man 3" continues filming in Wilmington.

The cast and crew shot at multiple locations today, including New Hanover Regional Medical Center, where TV vans from fictional news stations in Los Angeles and Chattanooga, TN, were parked at the main entrance.

Some fans early in the day even caught a glimpse of star Robert Downey Jr. as he arrived to shoot.

The film covered the cost of extra staffing needed at the hospital today to deal with the shoot. Producers also made a donation to the hospital's foundation.

Enough is enough. "Some fans early in the day even caught a glimpse of star Robert Downey Jr." ..... So what?

Do you really feel that any actor who comes to town to shoot a picture in our town is so much better than the rest of us that you actually think it's newsworthy if someone simply catches a glimpse of them?

You're portraying us as star-struck country bumpkins.

Please stop!
