WILMINGTON, NC (StarNewsOnline.com) -- HBO has already renewed locally shot "Eastbound & Down" for a fourth season, but at the Television Critics Association summer press tour, HBO programming president Michael Lombardo was tight-lipped Thursday about the show's story for its next season.
"They've pitched an idea that they have for this season, but (series creators) Danny (McBride) and Jody (Hill) are just sitting down (to write) now," Lombardo said. "Things happen in the writing process. I'd be more comfortable talking to you at the January TCA."
After the session, in Beverly Hills, CA, Lombardo said if the current story the writers have in mind remains what they ultimately commit to film, it's likely "Eastbound & Down" will return to shoot in the area.
