Another cab driver is the target of a crime

Wilmington, NC (WWAY) -- Wilmington police say someone stole cash from a Wilmington cab driver.  

The call came through to New Hanover County Dispatch just after 4:30 a.m.

The crime happened at the Carolinian Inn on Market Street and comes less than a week after some local cab companies suspended service when two other drivers were robbed in the early morning hours last Thursday.

A suspect was already arrested and charged for the previous robberies, and police are expected to slap the current suspect with a larceny charge once arrested.
