'Fatal Vision' writer testifies in MacDonald case

READ MORE:

WILMINGTON, N.C. (AP) - The author who wrote the book "Fatal Vision" about the murders of the pregnant wife and two daughters of former Green Beret doctor Jeffrey MacDonald says he never heard a woman admit to participating in the killings.

Author Joe McGinniss testified Friday in U.S. District Court in Wilmington, where MacDonald is trying to get a new trial on his conviction of killing his family in February 1970 in their Fort Bragg apartment. He was convicted in 1979.

McGinniss testified he sat in on meetings between MacDonald's lawyers and Helena Stoeckley, who had told people she was in the apartment. She testified, however, that she didn't remember where she was that night.

MacDonald has said four intruders killed his family, including a woman who chanted "acid is groovy, kill the pigs."

who does and does not sleep well in these cases?

sleeping at night apparently becomes very difficult for the conscience and thus many step up within a few years, who think they were involved in testifying in false prosecutions. Notice how its never the prosecutors or judges stepping forward..its the witnesses or marshalls! If he's not guilty these people should be prosecuted and especially Smith, who is lying to say he would never have built a case like this and of course he is going to say that; he could go to jail again! Look around you and see who's names are on the ballots and see if they were involved in these type of cases. Do not vote anyone in again who has been involved in these type of cases. Voting for them gives them the impression you approve of their corruption and it only multiplies and costs more people their lives.
