MINT HILL, NC (AP) -- Police say a man has been shot to death just outside Mint Hill.
Police said 25-year-old Courtenay Terrill Robinson was shot around 10 p.m. Saturday after a group of people gathered at a convenience store.
Officers called to a report of a shooting found Robinson lying on the road. Mint Hill paramedics pronounced him dead a short time later.
Police said Robinson had been in a vehicle that remained at the scene. Officers say others in the vehicle ran from the shooting location. Police say another vehicle also was involved in the escape.
Police spokesman Bob Fey said everyone involved had been identified and located, but no charges had been filed by Sunday evening.
