'Iron Man 3' searches for military extras

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- Have a military or law enforcement background? You may be the perfect extra for upcoming scenes in "Iron Man 3".

Tona B. Dahlquist Casting company is searching for men between ages 20 and 40 to work on-set Oct. 27 and Oct. 29. Applicants with the neccessary background and appearance should be available for a costume fitting Oct. 17.

According to StarNews reporter Cassie Foss, "The production recently moved to the Fort Lauderdale area to begin a location shoot on Oct. 1, but is expected to return to Wilmington to wrap filming, local film industry officials have said."

Those interested in applying as an extra when filming resumes in Wilmington should email a photo of themselves along with contact information to cagedheatextras@gmail.com and enter "Military" in the subject line.

Posts on The Caged Heat Casting facebook page also seek Middle Eastern or Latino men, as well as a Middle Eastern girl between 10 and 12 years old. Those applicants can send a photo and contact nformation to cagedheatextras@gmail.com with "Me" in the subject line.
