WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- A Downtown Wilmington deli known for its soup and sandwiches will be featured on a celebrity chef's web series.
A production company recently contacted Chop's owner Brad Corpening to demonstrate how to make the perfect sandwich for eHow.com.
The segment, which was shot earlier today, will be featured on eHow as part of Rachael Ray and Buddies.
Corpening shared his secret for what makes Chop's sandwiches so good.
"We really try to be creative with what we're working with," he said. "Obviously we're using the best possible ingredients through Boar's Head meats and cheeses. We get local-baked bread from Sweet n Savory. When we can we try and get a hold of local produce, but otherwise we're getting the freshest stuff we can get a hold of, so the stuff going into the sandwiches is the best we can get."
Chop's closed early today to shoot the video, but will be back to its normal hours tomorrow.
At this time there is no word on when the segment will appear on the eHow website.
