WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- Wilmington Police say last night they caught another burglar in the act.
Police were called to 2204 Princess Place Drive around 9:18 p.m. for a breaking and entering in progress. A K9 officer found the suspect, who ran from the scene.
Investigators say K9 Arko chased down Ronald Sellers, 29. He was taken to the hospital, where he was treated and released and then taken to jail.
Sellers is charged with felony breaking and entering, second degree trespass and resisting arrest. He was also served an outstanding failure to appear warrant. He received a $5,100 secure bond.
Court records show Sellers has pending drug charges in New Hanover County. The Department of Corrections website shows Sellers has a criminal history that includes DWI, larceny and reckless driving.

Arko,and his partner, K-9
Arko, and his partner, K-9 Officer Kurti Vithalani, always do a good job of taking a bite out of crime. While we sleep, they are protecting Wilmington from creeps, like this.
