Local response to president's second term

READ MORE:

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- In Wilmington thousands took to the streets to honor Dr. Martin Luther King. We asked members of the crowd what they hope for as the president's took the oath of office.

"I for one am completely excited, sorry that I couldn't make it there in person," Francine Rich said. "I think that the country decided to give him a second chance to carry out the things he promised in the first term. So I am excited about him carrying out exactly what he started to do."

Some we spoke with are happy about the presidents new term but hoping to avoid the problems of the last one.

"I hope in general that they will all start to compromise a little better together," Jayne Stasser said.

"One thing I hope for, I hope Republicans will work with Obama this term more than they did last term, so they can accomplish more," Paige Ahhee said.

Others say during this term, the president needs to shift his focus.

"Last term, he did pull out of the war, but I feel a lot of things that he wanted weren't for the betterment of the nation," Jonathan Brody said.

4 more ears...I mean jeers...I mean tears.....I mean..nevermind

It is a shameful day in the USSA....a full red commie is "given" a second term. I guess we just have to hold out hope that the GOP congress can save us from total failure. Isn't ironic that when Beeonsay was faking it, she was doing so for a fake president. Almost funny except for that whole "hell in a hand basket" feeling that MOST Americans are feeling. Better red than dead, I suppose. If you don't get it, then you probably voted for Comrade Obuma...

In case you were asleep,

In case you were asleep, President Obama was elected DECISIVELY and honestly. Glad you are enjoying the feeling of going to "hell in a hand basket". The road to this "hell" began with the election of Reagan in 1980 and I am glad to be alive to see that era end.

From the election results, I would say MOST Americans voted for President Obama. All you have to do id look at the electoral college or the popular vote. So then are you saying that most Americans are really "Commies" to use a perfectly 1950's expression?

I hope I wake up and Howdy

I hope I wake up and Howdy Doody will no longer be our president!

If !!!

you can figure out how to take a 1460 day nap, you will wake up just in time for the inauguration of Hillary Clinton as our next President.
Sleep tight and don,t let the bedbugs bite.

Really? .... No, really?

How could you possibly be so stupid as to think Howdy Doody is our president?

If you're going to be this dumb, why bother to post?

Really!

Everybody knows it's not Howdy Doody.... it's Alfred E Newman!!!

Some say T. Waldo/Louie the Lip/Sammy the WMD's........

At least it ain't (George W. What's His Name)!
Wasn't that his name...or was he Howdy Doody? Some say T. Waldo/Louie the Lip/Sammy the WMD's........
Oh, on that January day, when Marine 1 flew George away, he looked out the window as to say..."Look Laura...the crowd down there LOVES ME!"
Water under the bridge you say? Thank God for that!
Why he didn't show up in D.C. as a guest in the Motel 8, and for the swearing in of the Prez?? George W. is still pissed because Obama bought his daughters a new kinda dog...the kind that pee's on the Bushes :-()

awwww

You mad bro? :) oblama is a joke..... so are you.
