Azalea Garden Tour gardens announced

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- The 2013 North Carolina Azalea Festival is still months away, but it's never too early to talk flowers and belles.

Today, the Cape Fear Garden Club introduced this year's stops on the Azalea Garden Tour and kicked off ticket sales for members.

Belle applications are now available, and the festival committees are gearing up for another successful year.

"It's our 60th annual Azalea Garden Tour, so we're very proud of that. It's our diamond jubilee here, so it's 60 years of beautiful gardens, as well as 60 years of giving back to the community," Azalea Garden Tour chair Susan Nettleman said.

Garden Tour tickets go on sale to the general public Feb. 1.
