Randall Pkwy. work to cause delays

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- The eastbound lane of Randall Parkway between Brailsford and Marlboro drives will be closed starting tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. until Saturday.

Drivers should expect delays and take alternate routes if possible.

Crews will install five drainage pipes under the road as part of the Randall Parkway widening project.

This work is creating a headache for many. When its done going from College to Independence will be easier.
Or will it?
Being at the entrance to UNCW naturally makes this road very congested and I fear that it will still be after work is completed. And that intersection with Kerr? One of my most despised intersections between 4:00 to 6:00 pm.
I sure hope this project makes this road safer
