Woman loses control, flips truck

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- A woman went to the hospital after she flipped her truck on the ramp from the Isabel Holmes Bridge to MLK Parkway in Wilmington this afternoon.

Investigators say the driver lost control of her vehicle and slid into a light pole, which caused the truck to roll onto its roof.

Police say the woman, whose name has not been released, is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

I bet she was speeding also. The Police need to start enforcing the traffic laws in the city..

If you happened to see the video of this accident on WWAY tonight at 6, the shot of the slick tire on the rear of her pickup certainly could have been most of the cause. Slick tires and rain do not work well together.
