Man robs customer at gunpoint inside Wilmington McDonald's

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- Police are investigating after a customer was robbed at gunpoint inside a Wilmington McDonald's Sunday night.

The robbery happened just before 11 p.m. Sunday at the McDonald's at South College Rd. and Shipyard Blvd.

According to Wilmington Police, a man with a gun entered the restaurant wearing a ski mask.

The suspect demanded money from a customer inside, but the restaurant itself was not robbed.

Investigators say they used SABLE and K-9 units to help locate the suspect Sunday night, but have no one in custody at this time.

I heard about,

The description of the suspect, he was wearing a red and yellow suit, red hair, red shoes, and disguised himself as a clown with white and red face paint.

Extra Value Menu

Thanks to McDonald's new extra value menu the victim was able to go out to his car, rummage through the ash trays, check down the seats and find enough change to feed himself. The true hero here is McDonald's. But you will never hear that side of the story from the health-Nazi liberal media. No sir.

Hmmmmmm, Godwin's Law is

Hmmmmmm, Godwin's Law is true.

It was...

... the hamburgler.

Was it the horsemeat burger?

Thanks, Guesty - I laughed so hard I spit my coffee all over my keyboard!

Good one.

Sorry about the keyboard, hopefully it will continue to work.

If you are going to rob someone, rob someone who can afford more than McDonalds.
