WILMINGTON, NC (StarNewsOnline.com) -- HBO’s “Eastbound and Down” opened offices on Monday at Wilmington’s EUE/Screen Gems Studios, so it looks like Southeastern North Carolina’s favorite foul-mouthed ball player will soon be back in the region.

The series, which wrapped season three with its lead character, Kenny Powers (Danny McBride), riding off into the sunset, will pick up after the arrogant hero’s disappearance, according to Collider.com. The entertainment website, which interviewed McBride during his recent WonderCon appearance, reported that the fourth season will likely be the last for the screwball comedy.
