WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- UNC Wilmington Police are looking for help figuring out who set two suspicious fires on campus last week.

They believe the first fire started shortly after 11 p.m. Wednesday in a patch of grass at the edge of the parking lot for the Seahawk Landing Housing Community.

The second fire was discovered shortly after 10 a.m. Thursday when someone found a partially burned cloth in the parking deck.

If you have any information, call UNCW Police.

Photo with arrow

The photo you are displaying with the story is useless without a caption - what are we suppose to be looking at? I see the arrow - what is it pointing to?

It is pointing to the

the brightly lit UFO that just landed in the parking lot. Watch the video and you will see it is pointing to the "suspicious fire" as indicated in the title of the article.

Still frame photograph

The arrow in the photo is pointing to what appears to be a white or light-colored car leaving the scene shortly after the grassfire starts. The photo and accompanying video were released by University Police in the hopes that someone may recognize the car (understandably very difficult from that distance) or may have information about the incident that they could share with Campus Police via one of many communication mediums, including anonymously.

If you have any information about this incident, please contact University Police at (910) 962-2222. Anonymous reports can be submitted online via www.UNCW.edu/police, or by phone at (910) 962-TIPS.
