BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) -- Brunswick County Sheriff's deputies have arrested a man they were looking for in connection to a series of utility trailer thefts.

Herman Leonard Britt, 53, of Lumberton is charged with two counts of felony larceny, one count misdemeanor larcy and one count of possession of stolen goods.

Yesterday detectives released images of a white truck in Ocean Isle Beach they believed was connected to the thefts.

Investigators say among the items Britt stole were a 12'x6' utility trailer, a paint sprayer, a pressure washer, an aluminum tool box, a Carolina Skif fiberglass boat with trailer and four patio chairs. They say the items were stolen in Ocean Isle Beach Lumberton and Shallotte.

Britt is in jail under $24,000 bond.
