Buffalo Wild Wings to show Hammerheads away games


WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- Soccer fans in Wilmington now have a chance to watch the Port City's professional team on the road.

Buffalo Wild Wings announced today it is teaming up with the Wilmington Hammerheads to air the team's road games for the 2013 season. The "Watch Parties" will take place at the Old Eastwood Road location, where Buffalo Wild Wings will be streaming a feed from the United Soccer League.

"We wanted to find a fun, upbeat and safe location for our fans to watch road games, and show support to our local team throughout their season," Hammerheads GM Matt Sadler said in a news release. "By providing our fans with a universal location for our away games, we are giving our fans of all ages a home to cheer on the Hammerheads."

The first watch party will be the first away game on Friday. The match starts at 10:30 p.m.
