WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- The Children's Museum of Wilmington wants your help raising money for a new Imagination Playground. Their goal is to reach more than $5,000 by Friday.
The Imagination Playground exhibit is for children to built whatever they can imagine. One employee says the big blue blocks promote sharing, creativity and cooperation between the kids. She says the museum is about learning through play.
"The kids can build whatever they want, so instead of a static exhibit where they come and it's the same thing every time, this exhibit changes every time they come, because they can build a castle or a soccer field or a slide. So they can really imagine the exhibit to be whatever they want every time they come," Michelle Peck, the museum's director of marketing, said.
They hope to raise the rest of the money by Friday. Click here for more information, including how to donate.
