WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Police are looking for 18-year-old Deshaun Clarida for multiple felony charges.

Police say Clarida led them up North Market Street on a high-speed chase Saturday.

This was after police responded to a shots fired call in the parking lot of Dr Stylez near the intersection of Covil Ave. and Market St.

They were told a grey Dodge Ram Truck was involved.

Clarida was driving the truck and managed to escape police.

They later found the truck crashed into a chain-link fence at Hurst St. and Maides Ave.

Clarida fled on foot.

Police say they are seriously investigating Calrida's possible involvement in a shooting Friday that left four people injured.

Wilmington Police Department has Clarida in their system as a "validated gang member"

Police need your help finding this criminal if you have any information please contact the Wilmington Police Department at 910-343-3609 or text-a-tip to Tip708.

Funny, the posters here have SO much to say when it comes to putting down the WPD.
Don’t judge until you’re in their shoes please.
Unless, that is, you’re going to go out and become our caped crusaders? You do a damned fine job of it from behind your computer screen.

Smug, hood gang member evaded police once again. Funny how they can pull someone for inspection violation but can’t catch a shooter….with all the high tech Sable, gun fire technology, and supposedly gang force police….crime ridden neighborhood….gangs….hmmm…….another one slipped by…..

If this guy is a ‘validated gang member,’ why is he so hard to locate? Seems to me that should’ve been on the Wilmington PD’s radar. How do they expect to fight the gang violence if they’re not keeping tabs on those causing all the problems?
